Many RPA/Automation courses focus on the technical – how to build actual bots or automated solutions. This series of courses focuses on how to manage this work – a vital skill often lacking in businesses today.
In this course, you are going to learn how to produce the graphical representation of your current and future state processes in full. To successfully deliver RPA projects and solutions, you need to be clear what is happening in your process today to then inform the design of that process tomorrow. This requires both the current and future state processes to be mapped.
To do this well, there are a number of considerations, and we cover them all in this course. Within the course, we will cover the following:
– What is RPA, a process & the difference between current & future state?
– How to map your current state process.
– How to model your future state process, based on ALL work done prior.
– How to successfully review and annotate your processes, have others do this and present back to a range of audiences.
– How to choose the right mapping method, gather the team and run the workshop.
– How to have a future state process, designed to your needs, ready for the developers to take over.
At the end of this course, you will have full confidence to map out the current state process in scope for your RPA work and gather feedback, comments and requirements on this. You will also have the confidence to work with your colleagues to build out a future state process, fit for purpose and ready for delivery. Being able to do this work is an essential skill in automation, RPA and general process improvement, so ensure you upskill in this area now.
