Are you looking to improve your lighting skills in Unreal Engine 5 from an Unreal Authorized Instructor with 5+ years of expertise? You are in the right course then!
In this course, I’ll teach you everything you need to know to start a proper lighting workflow for any scene you want, by going through the lighting actors inside the engine
You don’t need to have a ton of knowledge about Unreal Engine 5 to start. I have discussed some basics of the editor to get you started with it so you can follow up easily. We will start with downloading UE 5.5, create our project ‘Old West Learning’, and start then with the needed Project Settings to ensure high-quality control.
Right after that, we will discuss how to set up proper lighting workflow, starting with our Sky to get the right Ambient and feeling, and then add the main light source, and it’s not only this level! because we will go through using Fake / Bounce Lighting which is a very advanced technique used by Pros! I will teach you how to use it in a very simple way to make your environment lighting look unique from anyone else!
We will then use Exponential Height Fog, Light Gobos, and Post Process Volumes to maintain better quality and settings for our scene.
If you are interested in all of that, I’m so excited then to teach you all these techniques that are used in big studios and production by experts.
And don’t forget to submit your work to get the chance to review it with me and get critique and feedback on it, to help you improve your skills even further.
